Welcome to Papa Blue’s corner of the internet! I’m a proud retiree after a fulfilling career as a teamster, and I come from a quaint small town in Michigan. Growing up in a farming community instilled in me the values of hard work, community spirit, and the importance of resilience and simplicity—lessons that continue to shape my perspective today.

One of my biggest desires is to find someplace on this earth to call home and start a new chapter in my life. After much thought, I decided to explore the Philippines, an archipelago of over 7,000 Southeast Asian islands between the South China Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
